When I think of spring I envision light pastel colors or bright and bold shades - lots of pinks and purples as well as corals. 

Hello! Want to know how I do my eyebrows? I generally use two different methods and in this video I show you both! I change up my eyebrow routine all the time, but this is how I'm currently doing them. I don't trim or wax/thread my eyebrows at all mostly because I just don't trust other people touching my eyebrows and I don't like to spend too much time on them.  All I do is pluck and shape them. I like to keep things simple and as low-maintenance as possible. It usually only take me 5 mins or less to do my brows everyday.

I can't believe how fast January and February went by! I still remember celebrating the start of a new year and then all of sudden we're into March already?! Oh well, that means spring is almost here...then come summer! Don't get me wrong I love winter, but I hate the cold. I'm like an icicle even in my own house lol.

Hello! This was what I wore to church this morning :). Though it is still really cold in the Midwest adding in a pair of black booties and tights can help add warmth. Obviously if I was to be doing something active outside then this wouldn't be ideal but since Andy and I were going to church I thought it would be a good idea to post this up.

I hope you all had a wonderful Valentine's Day because I know I did! Yesterday, I uploaded a makeup tutorial for a soft and smokey Valentine's look. The sun was out, but it was forecasted to rain in the afternoon. Even though we had planned for an outdoor wedding, the weather wasn't in our favor so we decided to move everything indoors to the main ballroom. When the wedding party arrived at the venue, the bridesmaids and groomsmen helped with last-minute details while Andy and I took family photos. Both of us came from big families so we wanted to incorporate and include them in our wedding as much as possible. Let me just say I was drenched in sweat and full of mosquito bites by the time we were done. Regardless, I was just happy to see everyone there and finally able to take some official family pictures including my sister who was visiting us from Thailand for the very first time.

Today I'm reviewing the Kat Von D Shadow + Light Contour Palette. Even though I don't contour and highlight on a daily basis contouring is really nice for when I take pictures or film videos.

Kat Von D is actually a tattoo artist. I use to love watching the show Miami Ink and seeing her amazing tattoo skills. Over the years I've seen countless reviews and tutorials on youtube featuring many beauty products from her own makeup line. This contour palette is the latest addition to my increasing makeup collection.

I'm back with another blog post, but this time it is a makeup tutorial! I didn't think I would start doing tutorials, but I've been getting more and more request for makeup looks! I always post selfies or pictures of beauty products on instagram and on here so people are always asking why I don't just do tutorials...1) I already have a blog and youtube channel and 2) what's there to lose? Hello all! I'm back with another makeup review. I'm dedicating this blog post to Makeup Geek's eyeshadows and pigments. I've used MAC Cosmetics for years, but never really thought about giving Makeup Geek a try until recently so I went ahead and ordered a few eyeshadows and pigments to try out. Let me just say...the eyeshadows are so pigmented and smooth! I am so excited to start using them and possibly even start doing tutorials for you guys. I have been wearing these eyeshadows all week...obviously not all at once, but you get the idea.

LORAC came out with a gift set for their Alter Ego Lipstick Collection which included five of their best-shelling shades for only $35.80. One lipstick already retails for $16 alone so it would have cost me $80 if I were to purchase them separately! I saved over half the cost! This set is only sold exclusively at Kohl's, but if you don't live near one you can also order it on their website. I heard about this through a family member the week after I had already purchased two other colors from the same collection. I ended up with two of the same color, but I'm already saving on so much money just with the gift set alone. Plus, I really liked the color so I figured it's okay to have a backup.
