LORAC Alter Ego Lipstick Collection | Swatches

LORAC came out with a gift set for their Alter Ego Lipstick Collection which included five of their best-shelling shades for only $35.80. One lipstick already retails for $16 alone so it would have cost me $80 if I were to purchase them separately! I saved over half the cost! This set is only sold exclusively at Kohl's, but if you don't live near one you can also order it on their website. I heard about this through a family member the week after I had already purchased two other colors from the same collection. I ended up with two of the same color, but I'm already saving on so much money just with the gift set alone. Plus, I really liked the color so I figured it's okay to have a backup.

And finally....lip swatches!

These lipsticks are highly-pigmented, opaque, and has a matte finish. Even though it is matte, the formula doesn't leave my lips dry at all. Plus the colors are so gorgeous. My favorite ones are Duchess and CEO. They are more of an everyday lipstick since it's not too bold. I do like Seductress as well if I'm dressing up and going out. 

And let's talk about that GOLD packaging! I'm so in love with how sleek and classy it looks. I also love the fact that you can tell which color it actually is so you don't have to look through each individual lipstick to see if it's the right one. Sometimes, I forget the name of a color or what the color actually looks like so having it right in front of me helps! This is a great marketing strategy ;).
