Makeup Geek Eyeshadows | Review & Swatches

Hello all! I'm back with another makeup review. I'm dedicating this blog post to Makeup Geek's eyeshadows and pigments. I've used MAC Cosmetics for years, but never really thought about giving Makeup Geek a try until recently so I went ahead and ordered a few eyeshadows and pigments to try out. Let me just say...the eyeshadows are so pigmented and smooth! I am so excited to start using them and possibly even start doing tutorials for you guys. I have been wearing these eyeshadows all week...obviously not all at once, but you get the idea.

Let's talk about the packaging of these eyeshadows - individual eyeshadows come packaged like MAC ones, but instead of a boring black color Makeup Geek's eyeshadows comes in a cute pink, white, and black packaging with a design on it. I'm a total sucker for packaging so when products I ordered online comes nicely packaged, I get overly excited! This shows that the company is creative and that they carefully thought out how to make their products more attractive on top of creating amazing products. I also ordered three of their pigments in Utopia, Bewitched, and New Years Eve. I've used Utopia and it's just so gorgeous! Maybe I'll do a makeup tutorial for you guys one of these days ;).

Each individual eyeshadow is $5.99 which is half the cost of MAC eyeshadows. However, if you order the Makeup Geek 9-Eyeshadow Starter Kit it costs $49.99. You save a few bucks just by purchasing the kit. I only paid $2.89 for shipping and handling. The products arrived within one week! Customer service was nice and fast :).
