Our Wedding Part Four

11:20 AM

WARNING! This is a long post with LOTS of pictures! It may take awhile to load so be patient :). Most of these photos are from the reception and some of the after-party. There are way too many photos of the after-party so I'll have to upload the rest separately.

You've made it to Part Four of our wedding! I apologize for taking so long to finally post the actual photos up, but here they are! Once again, thank you to both our families and friends and everyone who helped made the wedding possible. Without you guys we wouldn't be who we are today. Thank you from the bottoms of our hearts.

Greeting the wonderful guests who attended our celebration of marriage :).

Time for the reception to begin!

Speeches: Parents of the Bride, Parents of the Groom, Best Man, Maid of Honor, and Bride & Groom

I love how he never fails to make me laugh. I don't seem to notice how goofy I look laughing loudly at the things he says. In moments like these I forget that others are watching. Looking back at these photos only reminded me of how much joy and laughter he has brought into my life. Though it's not always rainbows and butterflies I can guarantee you there's never a dull moment in our relationship. There's never a day he goes without making me smile. I only hope that I can be as good of a wife to him as he has been a boyfriend and now a loving husband to me.

Time for dinner! I was pretty nervous for most of the night so I forgot how the food even tasted! When we picked out the menu for our wedding, we pretty much went with what we felt like at the time. At the end of the day food is food...it wasn't something that was going "ruin" our wedding. Plus, if people showed up just for the food then they are there for the wrong reasons lol. We ended up with so much leftover food, but the venue was super nice and bagged all the leftover for us to take home. Most venues won't allow that so we were glad we didn't waste so much $$$ on food just to throw it away.

Time to cut the cake! We actually ordered ours from Cake Guru in Oshkosh, WI. We walked in during their monthly "taste sessions" and booked our cake since we already had a general idea of how we wanted the cake to look like and they also threw in a promotion - free delivery! We did a 3-tier cake with different flavors and fillings and then opted for buttercream frosting instead of fondant. The top layer was vanilla with custard, the middle layer was chocolate with raspberry filling, and the bottom layer was champagne sponge cake with strawberry filling. It was so delicious!

The First Dance. It's funny how things turned out the way they are because you never know what life will throw at you. The first time Andy and I "slow" danced was at one of his coworker's wedding. I don't even remember what the name of the song was, but I remember the feeling vividly. You just know when someone is the one even if you don't know what the future will bring :).

The rest of the photos pretty much summed up our night! I've got to admit tough...Andy's got some pretty awesome dance moves if you guys didn't already know ;).

THANK YOU to everyone who joined us on our special day; those of you who helped decorated and cleaned up, and to those who drank and sang with us in celebration of our new beginning! Andy and I cannot be more blessed to have such generous and loving friends and family. God bless :).
